Happy Thanksgiving

TOM

My Nane Is Tom
Last I remember, I was walking
In the woods
With my wife and kids
Gathering Food.

I heard a loud bang
Don't know what Happened
I was kind of dizzy
Floating above myself.
~~~~*~~~~

Saw a man pick me up
Took me to his home
Had his wife attend to me
She was beautiful, very gentle.

She cleaned my wounds
Dressed me up
For a while, I went blank again
Upon recovering
I saw a family
Gathered so peacefully
Around a table.

They were saying grace
Thanking God, For all they had
And for me being there
Heard a child, call my name
Wheres' Tom?
~~~~*~~~~

The Mother, proudly exit the kitchen
With a huge covered tray
Centered it on the table
Slowly removing the lid
OH MY GOD!!
"They Are serving me."
