I Walked in
The Waiting Room was empty
Except for a charming Lady
And her obvious grandson
Also a charming little lad
In his talkative three
Him and I hit it off well
I was waiting to see my doctor
The little boy
Ignited a conversation
I chat with him a bit
Not knowing
Somewhere along my waiting time
For a beautiful moment
I traveled back down the line
To an era, I've lost
In the corridors
Of my wonderful memories of her
I found myself
IN an unfocus room
From a mist
She appeared into my sight
She danced into the arms
Of this matured
Man in his sixties
her features I knew
A name was lost in the mist
She kissed me tenderly
My soul
Lit like a million candle lights
My heart happily beat with joy
I softly uttered
"You know, I love You"
We kissed
As she danced back into the mist
Saying "I know you do"
I realized she was the first soul
To awaken
The dormant flames
That dwell within my fading soul
whose name I dare not speak
But would never sail out of my mind
The little lad in The Waiting Room
Approached me cautiously
Touched my hand
I woke to his gentle touch
As he informed me
That I had fallen asleep
I apoloziged to him, smiling
Said to him
I know, That's what grandpas do.
