And she rode The tumultuous war years As all others Trying to survive In her youth. She must have shined Like a jade crowned with gold For that's the only description That escapes my mind On her divine beauty. Now in her sixties Father time Has been kind to her The golden crowned jewel. she has been touched A tinge of silver Graces her loveliness Within her years. Shy, inhibited She tried her best Blocked by language barriers Makes difficulty her loneliness. mingling in the society She now belongs to beautiful is her shyness Within her smile. Her accent without her realizing Is tantalizing To the ears of men She draws their undivied Attention. By: William Bonilla��
