My reflection within the mirror
Was facing in the oppisite direction
Puzzled I wondered
Where was my face
My body seemed out of place
What have I done now?
My Reflection
Refuses to look at me
I only see the back of my head
and rear end
Where did I go wrong?
Why wasn't I strong?
Where do I belong?
I do remember
Holding a small mirror
In front of my face
Cause I cut myself
On the back
While shaving my head
When I looked to shave my face
My reflection
Was looking away
Maybe I should leave
Well enough alone
And try again another day
Was I coming or going?
I LIKE THIS WORK. IT TAKES A LONG WHILE FOR THE PERSON LOOKING INTO THE MIRROR AND THE PERSON LOOKING BACK TO LINE-UP. SOMETIMES THEY NEVER DO, BUT THEN...THAT'S WHAT LIFE IS REALLY ALL ABOUT; 'TRYING' TO GET THERE. ENJOYED AND THANKS FOR SHARING, WILLIAM. LOVE, BLESSINGS AND FAITH...JOYCE * HIS INSPIRATIONS
Brilliant write William! You surely know what's up with a stunning poem like this one. Your perspective is spot-on...the world of humanity can't find its face...
Most interesting offering William....looking backwards in a mirror just makes everything goes upside down wrongside up at times ...and can be very confusing indeed!!

Great advice, William, and I often feel the same way.
