Thoughts And Dreams

We sit, thinking of thoughts
That linger still
In blest memories
When youth
Was like a rose bud
Upon a thorny bush
Young and vibrant
Bursting with virgin energy
That excites
Anticipating life
To it's fullest
To grasp youth again
Would be like trying to hold
A bull
By it's greased horns
Life must continue
Dreams must disappear
Like blowing sands
In a desert
Reality hits hard
Our hand has been delt
Destiny
Is written in the winds
Of shifting sands.

Destiny, what is our destiny these days. It is to be good and listen to God and finally being with him in our last moment when we take our last breath. It may not be for a while, but we must ponder on it often and do our best to do God's leading and listening to him and asking in prayer helps. Your writings are so sentimentally useful and thoughtful too.

Dear William,

Dreams belong not only to the young. They should not disappear but be kept alive.

Love & Light,

Ah yes, William. But even *When youth
Was like a rose bud Upon a thorny bush,* even then Life was a double-edge sword. My dreams don't really disappear as much as they feed my soul. Excellent write!

Peace. Joyce
