A Clown
Stands with his back
Against the wall
Within the confines
Of my bathroom.
There he observes all
That surrounds
His only dwelling known
He wears a painted smile
Upon a sadden frown.
He displays sadness
With a deep sorrow
In his eyes
Yet I see no tears
He just stands there
Always bringing me cheers.

My heart breaks
Each time I stare at him
Specially when I hum him
A happy hymn
My desires are, to realease him
For this is not his prison
So he may, wander on his own
But he won't
You see!
My house has become
His home.

Still he stands
With his back to the wall
Viewing all that occurs
Sad eyes
Still set deep upon his face
Unable to cry
Never making a sound
when no one is around
My magical little Clown
But at times
A tear falls from my eyes
Due to his broken heart
For he is unable to cry.

Captivating write write William!!

But if you read this with a mind like min that can be very wicked...well then this could be a "scream" thingy too!!

So take this with a pinch of salt...:)!!

A beautiful write anyways!!

Happy St. Patrick's day

There once was a clown in mourning.
She wasn't really ill.
But wicked stepmothers have a way
of robbing Cinderella's till.
With drugs and lots of evil schemes,
our funny heiress lost a few things
including her ability
to laugh at rediculou-city.
But now that she's a spider,
and has a World Wide Web,
she finds new joy in typing facts
and laughing at truth when it comes to a head.

Feel better?

A tear falls from my eyes
Due to his broken heart
For he is unable to cry.

A truly captivating piece, William, from your poetic heart and soul, and I'd bet your little clown appreciates your concern and is very glad he lives in your home.
