We stopped at a rest area
Upon continuing the road trip
She took over the wheel
It was her turn to drive
She said
She drives Well
But me insane with love.
One could nap and worry not
It seems the road is kind
To her
Like a miracle
All eighteen wheelers
Disappeared
I saw none in sight
All to my wonderful delight.
Like Fat Joe Sang in his song
I did the Rock-a-way
I leaned back and relaxed
She is al to me,
You see
She's my Body and soul
Pillar of the fibers
That holds me together.
How sweet is the sin
That is born
From her passion
I gently hold her hand
While she's driving
She drives well
But me insane with love.
I close my eyes
Wondering the unthinkable
What if one morning
She wasn't ther?
Called before her time
By an angel from the heavens.
What would I do?
Without her
She is my body, my soul, my mind
I would, wither
As a dried Autumn leaf
Crumble into dust
As the good Lord
In his kindness
Scatter my remains
Into the four winds
To fall upon and nourish
The wild flowers, of the fields.
I opened my eyes
Smiled and relaxed
for the moment,
she was sitting there
Next to me
Still holding my hand
She's beautiful
Her hand is warm
I feel her pulse
In rhythm, with the beat
Of my heart
Even
While holding my hand
She drive well
But me insane with love.
