As I am longing for you
I never cease
To think or dream
About you
Every moment your image
Appears within my mind
It's a moment I cherish
The serenity of a beautiful morning
As the one before me
Drains my soul
Of Tears,
I've Yet Not shed.

Your non precence
Voids the existence
That surrounds me
On this warm clear day
The flowers blooming
The chirping of that lovely
Mockingbird
Perched high on that tree
Without you, within my embrace
Means nothing to me.

I need you by my side
I need to taste the woman
You are
I need to be whispering
My loving intentions
As I savor the loveliness
Of your smile
Before my eyes.

I find myself alone
At this very moment
All I can do
Is to bite my lips
Look high into the sky
To prevent another tear
Fom escaping my eyes.

So mush, and cannot wait for return of your love? What a sweet piece and lovingly said too.

Richness of contents, rhythm of the heart and melody of the soul aboud in "A Secret Love".

The closing lines,

"Look high into the sky < < <
To prevent another tear
Fom escaping my eyes." < < <
......................... made it a glowing star.

"A Secret Love" is a scented flower from the heart of the Poet's garden.

I salute You, Poet.

William, this is achingly beautiful. I feel the longing here and know it well. What a lucky lady to evoke such passion in you!

Be well!

The yearning we feel for another enlightens our spiritual side and the passion we feel becomes more acute and our awareness of their abscense has new meaning. You define that abscence in this poem.
