I No Longer Care

When I awaken
To a gentle darkness
Where, I no longer
Possess feelings of affection
Love nor hate
No longer inhale
The freshness of air
No Longer Care of today
Tomorrow, nor the future
Just a gentle dark
Exsitence.

No longer will I
Ever taste
The tenderness of your
Desiring lips
Nor the nectars
Of your heavenly kiss.

No longer will I taste
The cool clear waters
Of a running stream
Just the gentle darkness
Of this tunnel
I walk within.

I see at a distance
A bright light
No larger than a dime
I observed it
Getting larger and larger
For within here
There is no concept of time.

As I near it's location
Lo And Behold!
I've arrived
At beautiful fields
Of green clovers.

There the unicorn peacefully
Prances and feeds
At the meadows
Of serene and simplicity
I see the sheep
And the lion
They lie in togetherness
Licking each other's wounds.

I've finally reached
My destine, destination
I'll not look behind
For I am at the now
Where there is no future
No past
Just arrived at the place
Where my id will forever last
As I lay peacefully
On the green fields
Of where, "I No Longer Care."

A profound poetic-philosophic composition... "I No Longer Care" is page of art to enrich the American Fine Letters.

Healthy long creative life through a blissful living, Poet.

This is a picture of HOPE.

Long may this be a haven for us to go when we're overloaded.

My blessings dear friend.

A sad, tender, forgiving write, William.... Many of us find ourselves at this place psychologically. It is a place of rest, a place to recuperate. Well written.

Peace. Joyce

POW!

William,
I truly embrace your D'Artagnan personality! This one speaks loudly of the pilgrimage[gentle darkness]on earth.......until reaching the final restingplace,,,where I will no longer care, either!

Outstanding write, my Brother!
