I dared looked towards
Her direction
Because to me she was
Divine
As beautiful as the morning's
Sunshine
A complexion
Light brown pure cane sugar
Honey coated sweet, I presumed.
Soft and tender
I observed without ever a touch
Juicy
Some might say
I found myself staring
Down her way.
I saw her first
she caught me staring
At her loveliness
She knew she was fine
she looked at me seriously
Like a lady of style
Yet without a word
She meant
"Do you like what you see"?
These unspoken words
I read within
Her beautiful dark brown
Sesuously tantalizing eyes
I smiled at her,
She smiled at me
That occurrance was
As beautiful
As it will ever get
So I let it be
I said to myself
A Goddess for sure
Filing her heavenly
Image
In my deepest
Treasured thoughts
Under, "What If"
This is exceptional, William. Haven't we all fallen in love from afar at some time or another ... (sigh). You've described the phenomenon perfectly here in this lovely poem. Well done!
