I cleanse my body
With the sweet waters
Of life
I soap, rinse and spray
With a Soft musk
Bearing a manly scent
Not bathe
In the aromas of wild
Flower's perfume.
Within my mind, I converse
Not with my self
But with he who knows,
Sees and hears all.
He listens, not to ranting
But, what's in my heart
I wonder
How many breaths
I have left.
How many days
Will I be Among us
To enjoy
The Sweetness of life
How many more times
Will I lay to rest
Again to dream the dreams
Dreamers dream of.

Will I Love Again
As I still love
The one that dwells
With and shares my life,
heart and soul?
Was the sunset
Before I went to sleep
The last I'll ever see?
Will I wake
To witness the horizon
Giving birth to yet
Another sunrise?
Or willI find myself
Standing before
His highest all mighty
In his glories?
Is it me, is it me, oh lord
Standing in the need of prayer?
