I am He who obeys
No Gods before Me
I am The Morning
And The Evening Star
Your living God.
I am the sun That rises
Upon mankind
I am the Lord and master
Of the arid desert
That surrounds my domain.
I am The Royal Falcon
That flies into the sunset
That soars in the heavens above
Overseeing
The Asp and the Scorpion
And every creature
That slithers or crawls
In the heat of death.
I am your Master
I own you, your family
Your live stock
Even every flea that they host.
My enemy yield in my presence
They prostrate before Me,
In fear.
The lions within their dens
Tremble as I approach
For I am, Your Living God
"Pharaoh."
Wow! What a powerful write my friend, a strong and powerful message within the lines of this write. A very thought provoking write as well. Enjoyed, makes one stop and think...a reminder that we are living on borrowed time!

The tables turned completely, Pharaoh. After your swim in the Sea, you never defied God again.
Your story comes from the book of Exodus in the Bible, William. How about adding the references so readers can read the background and the whole thrilling story for themselves?
Good work!
You got me going there naughty boy!!!!
I was reading about no humility, or love, no compassion. You were describing an unknown god, not "my" God, and then...you gave a jolt, a really one when I was getting all righteous and fumming...
The pharao for Pete's sake!!!!
Brilliant done, very very good.
