But the Government makes it easier for idiots to Purchase weapons, (hand guns) with just a driver's license for ID, specially in Virginia. so therefore guns in the hads of "Mass Murderers" Kill People.

I wondered the same thing when I read the story of the Va Tech shooter. It was far to easy for him to get weapons intended for a mass destruction not for self defense. Thank you for posing the question for thoughtful consideration.
I agree with you however, the criminals are not the ones who will obey ANY gun law. They will get what ever they need to pull off their destruction. The harder and stiffer the laws, the more innocent people die because we can not protect ourselves. I am referring to places like Cook county, Illinois. NO GUN is allowed in the City of Chicago. The alderman and the mayor are allowed to conceal and carry, The gangs carry, but let a man defend his home in the middle of the night and shoot someone trying to harm his family....guess who goes to jail? I know. I live here. Chicago has one of the highest crime rates. If law abiding citizens were allowed to have guns in this country, maybe, just maybe, we could take our country back.

I like guns...and like to shoot...at targets. But, we as a nation need to put much more backbone in the gun laws as they exist. Until we do, we will, unfortunately see more of this sort of crime.
By the by...no need to explain about haiku...the fivesevenfive thing is not official nor tradional...it is simply the western worlds way of defining the form. Look at some of the master Basho's work and you will see what I mean.
We do need to enforce firmer laws when purchasing a gun, background checks, and etc. It is far to easy to purchase guns...But, I have often wondered if these crazed killers couldn't obtain a gun to complete their mission....wouldn't they just find another way to release their rage? Just a thought...

Powerful..
I own 3 guns myself.
Keep them locked up..
I use to hunt, but came to
believe it's a stupid waste of time.
Crazy deer hunters will shoot at
anything that moves..
But the Government makes it easier for idiots to Purchase weapons, (hand guns) They've also made it much easier to purchase assault weapons like AK-47s and Uzis, and larger clips for handguns. We used to have the Assault Weapons Ban, but our fearless leaders never saw fit to renew it.

William a powerful ku and so truthful...It is so tragic that so many can be wiped away by one mind that is sick. Thank you for posting this one.
I'm afraid we will. However, guns don't kill people. People holding the guns kill people. We think it's bad now, it's only going to get worse as the hearts of people continue to harden; heartbreaking reality, effectively penned.
It's powerfully and very well said William. Though I don't think gun control is the problem, man always finds methods to spill blood. It is what we are taught and the choices we make.Without Creator's grace people will always choose mayhem.
