Alone and naked
I entered this world
No pockets, to hide money
Let alone, a taste of honey.

Screaming, my head off, Hungry
I knew not why?
Until, I was given a breast
Unaware, of what it was
Happy I became, at my best.

I remember not, growing pains
Except for those, when I did wrong
My Dad whould discipline me
My Mother would hum me a song.

Dad
Would hold, my hand firmly
Making sure, from him, I did not run
While on our way, to the park
To have a little fun.

I, to chase
Squirrels and sparrows
Dad
To fish and relax
Clearing his mind, for a better tomorrow.

Never I dared, to leave his sight
He taught me
Never to near strangers
And other facts of life.

He showed me,
How to bait a hook
With wiggly worms
Yuk! I couldn't even look.

Dad
Worked hard, till his dying day
One day he left, to work
And there he stayed
His friends surrounded Him
As they all prayed.

Now he is gone
After raising seven
His presence, is still felt
Even while in heaven.
