Stars awaken With the first twinkle From the evening star As she struggles through The darkness of a cloudburst. Unseen during the day Or broken be your heart Unless they twinkle Within the loveliness Of dark mysterious eyes. The beauty of a rose bud Blooms Upon the rising of the sun As it escapes The twilight dawn Or with a gentle kiss Tenderly place upon Her morning dew Soft petals spread willingly Blossoming The wonderful pleasures Awaiting startled dreams.
