William, you are so right with this one, what you write, you own, and no two people think a like, and no two people have the same memories or comprehensions of a topic...each writer see's through their eyes, and writes what they see. Very enjoyable & I liked it a lot!

And those are the reasons why I truly appreciate, value and love your poetry, William. You keep it real and in a style that is comprehensible to all readers without the need of consulting a dictionary to get the full effect of what you are conveying. I do appreciate being challenged by learning new words, but, if its not used in my daily vocabulary, then forget it ... The poem won't have a lasting impression on me ... I like feathering back and forth, as a challenge to myself and those who thirst for new words and long to never have the old become extinct...I write one way...and then there are days I go the other way, like you, William, and pull out what we keep inside, until the poet holds the pen...and spills in ink wells from his heart, the soul and all that he dares...

I agree with Georg, Brother!

Readers get nothing or little from poetry they can't understand. When I read I want to go with the flow and not have to stop to consult the dictionary. It's hard to touch the reader's emotions if they are baffled by your words. Good poem, and thoughts William.

I will be gentle...but not hugs from me, you don't smell of lavender, but your words always have the sound of strength and veracity.
