A Thought For My Quill

I Possess
A Blank sheet of paper
I scratched a few lines
Upon it
No letters, no words
Absence of verses
Nothing with rhythm
Nothing that rhymed
Just a few scribbled
Up and down lines.

My blank paper sheet
Is no longer desirable Parchment
For me to scribe
Just a few lines
From my ink infested quill
Teasing my will
To compose memories of you.

Or of that memorable walk
We shared
While walking bare footed
Along South Beach
Enjoying
The wonderful ocean sounds
Of crashing waves
Assaulting the snow white
Sandy shores.

As we awe at the gulls soaring
Silently
Above the darkening skies
Before diving for the scraps
Left behind,
A passing fishing boat.

Or write about us
Observing
The heavenly sunset
Disappearing as the huge
Orange sphere
Sizzled into the beach’s western
Horizon.

As we made passionate love
On the sand dunes
That provided a secured haven
For our unfolding ecstasy
At hand.

'The memory of you'
With my love by my side, regardless, of what we're doing [or not] there is ecstasy. A passionate love, indeed.
As has been said "a bottle of wine and thee ..."

An incredibly moving and loving write

In the company of the sea, with discret waves as witness, love can't be a solitude moment, because there are the stars, like the skies eyes, and the wind that will take your words, and the echoes of the ecstasy to last as long as your memory can keep it.
Romance with the smell of a trattoria meal, a bottle of marsala and a beautiful woman to deal with.
