How dare me
To fall asleep
Late
In the darkness of a night
At the very edge
Where the horizon threatens
To extract
The new rising sun
To calm the occurrences
Of sinful thoughts
And mischievous dreams.
With a quill by my side
Within an arm’s length reach
Of a sacred blank parchment
Prepared
To Tempt Inspiration.
Awaiting a moment
Where nomadic dreams
Abruptly appear in my thoughts
Slinking through the corners
Of unwanted nightmares
Or where reality
Just seems.
Loved this...relate well, I often refer to myself as the dreamer, many of many of my poems are based on dreams, the quill by your side is a great idea! Enjoyed! Well done!

Sleep well my friend, don't let a nighmares stampede or nomadic dreams disturb your gipsy soul, and, as you go through and empty desert, write on its sands your words. The wind will take care to take them around the world.
