Your descriptive depiction lured me right in William...glad you had something to feast your eyes upon. Ahhh "The View" gives the reader such a magnificent sense of peace...smelling the air, taking in the sights~colorful imageries shared.

Think I will go there in my mind (into the painting that is)~refreshing.

That picture sounded just like an area in Pistakee Bay down the river from my house. Beautiful narration William!

Nicely done.
Takes me back to school when as a wee kid I'dd look out at the building cumulus, and imagine castles, princesses to be rescued, then -OUCH- as a red stick hit me...TURNER YOU'RE OFF WITH THE FAIRIES AGAIN. come back to earth, no swimming for you this week lad....

A marvellous way of describing, transporting the reader there, smelling the salt and hearing soft waves licking the reef round stones, and nearly seeing the light house keeper watching the horizon.
That it was only a picture doesn't broke the moment's charm.
Really very very good.
