The flame that burns
Deep in my heart
Ignited
When my eyes first
Gazed upon yours.

I went mine
My heart achingly beats
My thoughts are still
With you
Where I know not.

I’m
Unable to think of tomorrow
For it’s not promised
To anyone
Here I sit, nursing
The aches of an idle
Passionate heart.

I feel your aching heart
I tremble from the realization
That I still long to be with you
You were my promise for the future.

I left with the memory of that
look of sadness
In your once glistening eyes
Your heart spoke more than you ever knew.

Countless years have passed
Meaningless times have never
Erased those days spent in your arms,
And those shared moments of our passionate love.

I have tried to forget you,
But, darling there is no other man
That has come close to the passion
That you gave me, so long ago!

Your eyes and your heart are still alive
In my memory of our last days
I have yearned to feel
The steady beat of your passionate heart!

The passion from each of you - melts my heart.
I think there should be a sequel - Passion Fired (or a really good title), but you get the message.
Such a longing for each others love can't just be a memory, needs to be a reality.
