My Raven Heart

My Raven Heart
~~~~*~~~~

Shortly after the birth
Of our third child
I looked at her with awe.

How beautiful she is
The heavenly Gods have favored
her
She melts me with just one stare .

Her Mona Lisa Smile attest
To one of her prides
She hold within her embrace
As he suckles his share of life.

My Raven heart
Has stolen mine
She wears it upon her smile.

Oh, How I wish I was able
To gently brush her ebony
Silky hair
As black as ravens wings..

To whisper
My devotion of our vows
And the love
For her my heart possess.

But the miracle
She hold dear in her arms
Has priority over all before her
I will provide my share
Of love and affection.

Making sure he grows
To be able to spread his wings
so he may some day
Like a Royal Falcon
fly into the sunrise
Leaving behind
An empty nest.
