Want To Waltz?

I no longer see you
Finding myself missing you
Within the screen
Where one can make dreams
Come true .
~*~

Your words I long to hear
Nor read
As I was accustom to
In beautiful memories
Gone by
When A phone I once placed
Upon my ears.
~*~

No longer can I hear
The softness
Of that down under accent
I loved and missed.
~*~

Your favorite pet name for me
Echoes in my
Going insane mind
Oh! Please, don’t tell me
You’ve forgotten it.
~*~

If I drop several hints
Would your mind,
Conjure thoughts of me?
“Snuggled”
Deep in your embrace
Like a warm fluffy “Bunny”
~*~

There was once a time
I waited with jubilant
Anticipation
For the evening to arrive
As in cyber space
We drifted in time.
~*~

I sit here wondering
Of beautiful moments
In time
That will never repeat
Themselves
Like tear drops
Disappearing in the rain.

Long distance relationships can be very hard and you have to be a very strong person to handle such a test of love. Thank you William for those words from your heart.
