Yep used to see this every day in Philly. Very sad, I would see the same people on the streets for year.

Yes, it is so sad to think of one with out shelter, It would be a way to give them their own space and some protection from the cold til they had a permanent home,It is hard to think of a solution to something that should not be in the first place, My prayers to the homeless.

Hey William, the archetect could put hitches on the front and back of the boxes--that way if one were too tired to peddle his own feet, then he could be towed. And he could add hammock hooks from the sides so they wouldn't have to sleep on the cold, cold ground. And we could unravel all the ugly Christmas sweaters wasted on the silver-spooned snooties this year and make macreme hammocks. What say you? --always a new angle--always a new idea. Dear Friends and readers

When I wrote this piece, I had visions of thousands of homeless
People throughout the United state's Large cities wheeling their Government subsedized shelters around relocating from alley to alley before sundown, so they may select their prime portion of those allies for the night.

I am not making fun at the poor nor homeless,
just the brain fart of that Inspiring Architect.

So this is like the portable housing after Katrina. I wonder if it was the same architect who designed them. Housing is always a problem and street wise peopple are the real survivors.

Governmental abuse of the disadvantaged, moneyies could be better spent giving them food, shelter, health care...you pen heartbreaking reality. They don't care, they forget whom they serve. What hurts most? Being a homeless Veteran, or trying to live on what they pay. Can't do it, might as well be homeless. :(

Wouldn't it be cheaper to glue discarted cardboard boxes into big rows?
And thanks God for no letting those politicians to deport the homeless and sick Veterans, a kind of American Final Solution.

Even though sad William, this is not a bad idea. Insulated, waterproof, and portable. If you figure the cost of health care for the homeless who get sick from exposure. This could actually save money.

Wanting to make tons of money from the disadvantaged - probably very indicative of our modern day society and we see it everywhere today, including the billion dollar pharmaceutical companies. Yet if our government spent that $1,500 per homeless person, many of them would probably be better off than we treat them today - in a country called The Land of Plenty.
