One of my biggest fears William is that one morning I will awake to find all my fears come true. My husband keeps telling me not to think about things that have to come and we cannot change. Very sad write you share with us today.
How sad. --been unable to sleep myself these nights--recurring nightmares crashing 'round my brain. Pain is the kind of memory that doesn't make a good lullaby, isn't it? --Charlie
William, fears can sometimes destroy our happiness, I know just what you mean...I do the same thing and sometimes I find it makes me anxious and unhappy. It's something I think we all think about, especially, when we are getting up in years. Your writings capture many truths...love it!
The departure of a loved one [for whatever reason] is ALWAYS difficult. The pain and sadness in this poem is tangible. From personal experience, I asked God for strength to carry on, and He didn't let me down. Wasn't an easy road, but the trip took me to a better place.
