A night to remember


It was a night to remember
It wasn’t even a sensuous night
In September
They laid in their own beds
A Nation apart
Dreaming dreams
Of anticipating encounters
Showering in unison
as warm waters cascaded gently
Over their nakedness.

They visualized
Pleasures unknown
As they discovered each others
Sensuously soaping one another
Causing juices of life
To secrete with passionate desires
Clinging to their every emotion
And rhythm of their heartbeats.

With fantasies accomplished
Sensuousness met, incoherent whispers
Rendered in the heat of true passion
both spent, lay next to each other
A nation apart, as they wake
from their, dream of fantasy,
In time to click off
for a night to remember
And it wasn’t even a night
In September.
