WOW...William, this is such a wonderful writing...it gave me gooseflesh and brought tears to my eyes. We never know when the Reaper's rap will knock at our doors that's for sure. None of our tomorrows are offered to us. You've really inspired me with this poem...it's marvelous!
I see that this one come all the way from last October, and I am with the one that said, "I don't know what compelled you to write this one" but, for whatever reasons, the poem is a little bell whispering on a little capell a love that is not to us to pry upon...

powerful write William, I know Norma would love the beauty of all your writings as she had in the past. GBWY...Love & Hugs, Peggy
Tragic... maybe a little resigned, this is how it sounds when I read it out loud.
Tomorrow is unknown, but if we know how to live, there are less reasons to think about death.
But of course, I know little about your purpose here and where you found the inspiration for this poem.
I can see it is important not to leave things unsaid. I believe in this too.
No promises for tomorrow is a garautee at birth. Unfortunately as we walk down the different paths we choose, stumbling is one of those things we do so well. This is tender and mournful.
Love and blessings!
Susan
Both tender and sweet. Never leave anything unsaid.
So lovely to have a special someone you can be honest with. Even yourself.
Touched me in ways you will never know.
Thanks--RaeLynn
William, I do hope this is a dramatic piece...You have so much to live for, so pick yourself up and get to writing that book...Your wife is a very fortunate person to have such a passionate man that loves her so deeply...To you and Norma, may your remaining years together be filled with so much peace, love, and light...

Most moving, but being English, with our sick humour, can I leave you my info as a beneficiary..
I felt this deeply. Someone I love very much is passing through the valley as I type this. My heart is breaking for him...for the promises we once held together. Blessings, Michelle
This collection of poetry addresses the nature of time, reflections on the natural world, the difficulty of loss,
contemporary social issues and gratitude for life.
