From underneath a love letter
Stored in a box
Crawled a huge spider,
Just enough to let me know
It was there
Freaking me out
For it had awaken
My forgotten arachnophobia
within my id .

From a state of uncertainty
As I was reaching
For a love letter in a box
While exiting a dream
Where I saw you not.

Was this an omen
To keep me away
from your aching heart
That needs the passion
Of
My tender loving care?

Was this a hurtle
I am to encounter
As I dream
Dreams of you so far away.

My love for you
increases in its intensity
My loneliness echoes
Within walls
Once filled with the laughter
Of two souls deeply in love.

This brings tears to my eyes. I can only speculate that this 'separation' is not one of choice. I feel your loss and emptiness. May this sadness be short-lived and you find a loving companion to brighten your days and nights.
