On The Wings Of A Dove

How long am I to endure
Your absence
Am I destine to suffer
More lonely nights
Will you send me a message
Into the cold winter winds
On wings of a dove.

Am I to continue
Fighting off
Those shadows
Dancing on the walls.

Will I ever taste
The sweetness
Of your cherry flavor lips
Will you whisper in my ears
Ever again
Your most sensuous desires.

Will I be blessed tonight
With your image
As I dream
Wanting dreams of you.

...perhaps the message...on the wings of a dove...brings with it...also visions of an angel in winged dreams...of one so missed.
