It's Not The Same

Snuggled in a soft sofa
In the early evening
Trying to enjoy
The coziness
Of the night
But without you
It’s Not The Same.
 
A snifter Between
My fingers
Warm brandy swirling within
Sniffing the aroma
Of pleasures
To be
But without you
By my side
It’s Not The Same.
 
I find myself thinking
Of creative words
Born within my thoughts
For me to recite
In whispers.
 
 
As we make love
In anticipation
Of a sensuous night
But you are not there
By my side
It will never be with same.

Loneliness right now, but you have the pen to write about it and time will heal and maybe bring someone new into your life again. Memories will linger and hold on to the good and let go of the bad.

"It's Not The Same" intimately sweet filled with soft longing whispers of love.

...endings always leave empty spaces, and in the beginning you keep running into them...but life does go on, and you owe it to yourself to keep moving forward dear friend...
