That Road

~*~

Some write about

That lost highway

I often wonder about

That certain road

Some wish they can travel

That one,

 That’s wedged In my head.

~*~

Could that be the road

To righteousness

Or is it the road of doubt?

Where will it lead me ?

What mysteries await?.

~*~

Will it be similar

To that legendary tunnel?

With the light of judgment

At its end.

~*~

Are there any roads

In the arid desert valley

Where seven will dance

Before you.

~*~

Where your task is

To select

One of the veil

Laid before your feet.

~*~

Where each night brings

The black embrace

Of loneliness.

~*~

Had a wonderful day full of happiness yesterday. Today is more drab, but will make the best of it. The road not taken is the road maybe you should have ventured forth on. I do try to do something different each day just to get out of the doldrums and loneliness.
If only to eat a different food item. It helps.

...great write William...the journey...and roads. Sometimes the lost highway...one thinks of as lost...when taken...can give a found sense of renewal...or an appreciation for the road we so solemly travel every day. The heart knows of its dreams...and of it you pen quite well.
nicely written William...

Dearest friend,
There are always roads that lead to happiness and pleasure, it is our choice to be adventurous or stay safe.
Safety is a good thing at our ages, but sometimes you just have to go and have some adventurous fun along the way.
Good to see you back, my prayers are with you always,
Peace, love,and light,
