Children’s sweet dreams

Do little children dream?

Of life not yet experienced

Moments of loneliness

Moments of parental

Embraces.

Of sliding down, slides

Swinging on swings

Of grandma’s

Delicious apple pies.

Do they dream of beautiful butterflies

Fluttering, circles around their heads

Giggling at pixies and elves

Running away from Tales

Of leprechauns

Riding atop of pink dragons

Soaring in the heavens

Or feeding Unicorns

In the fields of clovers

Where the wild roses

Bring them smiles

And the scent of perfumes

Do they dream

Of playing tag hop scotch,

Kick the can

Or Jump the pony?

Can they smell Mom’s

Fresh baked cake

Before it’s done

As little brothers and sisters

Share the sweet dough

Coating the mix bowl

Scooping it up

With tiny fingers

So yummy its good t

To the last lick

Was I

A long time ago

Blest so?

When I was

Just about their age?

Or was that only

In my dreams?

Dreams come to them about just everything. I am sure they dream of grandmom and pa in their dreams a lot and the memories they have of them should keep their days ahead full of memories and dreaming of more surprises to come. I enjoyed this write, so much in it for me to ponder about too. Some of the dreams of Mom I remember of too in it. Same everywhere with kids and dreams I think. Good luck to you today.

It is sweet dreams and believe that quite possibly little one's do dream of such.
Now it seems like a fbeautiful fairy-tale however we know some of the events were true.

Adorable and thank you for sharing,

You make me see again the cribs where my children apparently were dreaming, if not, why the smiles in their peaceful faces?
Thanks

William, what a lovely write, the fantastic images I visualized as I read this were magnificent. I do believe little children dream because I know I did and most of the time it was about a carnival coming to town...I loved the excitement. A great write.
