You wandered into my mind

This morning a lovely thought

Entered my mind

Wandered innocently

Through my heavenly memories

Of valued dreams of you.

Meanwhile

I had been preoccupied

With the painful activities

Overtaking my every movement

A hand I’ve been dealt

Now part of my daily ongoing.

My heart welcomed you

As beautiful thoughts of a love

We once shared

I’ve never tasted lips

More desirable

Then the sweetness lacing yours.

I’ve forgotten

What a heavenly smile

You possessed

For I only blame you

As that who

Has possessed my heart and soul

As no other woman in my live

Has.

You had taught me the art

Of a love never known

Now that I find myself alone

I know where you did belong

Within this now hungry embrace

That craves the warm tenderness

Of your soft body.

What would I give to once again hear

Those sensuous whispers you created

Within the passionate grasp

Of my arms

Those pleas that still echoes

Though every chamber

As we inhaled each others

I miss the voice,

That desired all that I was able
