Please forgive my absence, I haven't been been myself lately and now my computer is whacking out on me, haven't been on line for about a week.....my inspiration is also on "leave without a pass"

 The Empty Waiting Room

~~~*~~~
I've arrived early
For an appointment
I am here to honor
I sit within
An Empty Waiting Room
A T.V. blurs
Local news items
Of this cool beautiful
Southern October morning
As current events unfolds
On the wall mounted
Flat screen.
The only vision before me
Are three
Comfortable leather chairs
Cleaned, polished,
Empty
Compelling me to photograph
What I thought
Was worthy of my present
Attention
Before my name was called.
As I entered the inner sanctum
Of my destination
I leave behind, the silence
Of an Empty waiting Room.
WELL, BY NOW I THINK EVERYBODY THAT IS A REGULAR ON AD SHOULD KNOW MY PHILOSOPHY ON POETS THAT FEEL THAT HAVE NOTHING TO SAY. I HAVE READ SOME OF THE BEST POETRY WHEN A POET JUST SHARES THIS FACT. A POET NEVER HAS NOTHING TO SAY 'CAUSE EVEN WHEN THEY THINK THEY ARE NOT SAYING ANYTHING...THEY ARE SAYING MUCH. I LOVE THIS WORK...TURNS OUT THAT YOU LEFT BOTH OF THE EMPTY WAITING ROOMS...THE POETS WAITING ROOM AND THE APPOINTMENT WAITING ROOM. THANKS FOR SHARING. LOVE, BLESSINGS & FAITH....JOYCE * HIS INSPIRATIONS
you really captured an "empty" feeling in this fine poem, William. Very unusual and well done!
A strong capture of that unsettling place and atmosphere that a waiting room is, especially an empty one with all its strange, unnerving possibilities.
Well expressed, William.
I really dislike sitting in waiting rooms. It give you too much time to think about why you are there.
You handled this very well.
So, your inspiration is missing in action, we will have to do something about that..
I will write something for us.
Talk soon,
Much peace, love and light,
Amber
I always liked waiting rooms that are empty. The waiting in a crowded room gives me the shakes. This was a well crafted poem,
William. Good job.
GOD BLESS YOU
