Promises! Promises!

What Now?

The year is almost over,

New promises made

As to what one will do,

Or not

For the incoming year

No one gives a grap anyway,

Time continues

Life must be taken

One day at a time,

Forget about yesterday,

It’s gone with the sweet and sour

Valued memories,

Do what you gatta do today,

Foe tomorrow

Is just another word

The future is not promised

To anyone

It was promise to only one man,

A criminal,

Crucified next to Christ

”Today“

He said on to him

You will be with me

In paradise…..

The past is gone,
Tomorrow is only a concept.

very interesting perspective, William ... is paradise only for those who have repented from taking from others?
