Questionable moments in time

If that were me,
I would be Looking at me

A Moment in Question
~~*~~

I watched him
In a cafe
Sipping coffee
Talking to himself
I’ve seen him around
Here and there
Huge man, glasses, neat
Serious type.

Today
It was different
For I now see him
For what he really is
I once thought him sane
Than again, I was ten.

He rose
Paid for this coffee
As he walked away
He made movements
With both hands.

As If
Instructing his unseen
Accomplices
To surround a person
Not there
Talking like Jack Webb

Now I feel
As though my thoughts
Are seeping, escaping, oozing
Out of my sanity.

Been finding myself struggling
With simple task
Of late
Time perpetrating obstacles
Along the way
Of my decisions
  Or is my sanity
In question.

WILLIAM, I AM 66 AND I HAVE 'SENIOR MOMENTS' AND...THE OLD GAL 'AIN'T WHAT SHE USED TO BE'...WE CHANGE WITH, WILLIAM...IT'S LIFE, IT'S WHAT HAPPENS WHEN WE GET OLDER.
