Have you ever Dreamt?

Have you ever dreamt
A dream within a dream
That you wasn’t dreaming?

Have you ever heard
Voices arguing
Not making any sense
Within the darkness
Where shadows lurk
Inside your mind?

Have you ever witness
An action causing
A reaction
Finding it impossible
To believe
And there were
No magicians there?

I woke
To pray of that
I’ll dream no more,
The rising sun blest
My coming days
As darkness disappeared
Like smoke into the winds
Of yesterday.

sometimes I too wish to dream no more. The bad is behind me, I want to live in the Now....master poet.

I believe sometimes we dream for answers and sometimes just for fun, I dream in color and was suprised to learn that many people don't.

I have dreamt William all sorts of dreams. Some good and some bad.I usually cancel the bad ones in prayer. May you know nothing but happiness in your life.

There are some dreams I never want to wake up from. Then there are dreams which leave me scared silly upon awakening. The latter I can do without. William, this is a fine write!

Yes I have dreamed. Some are good and some are bad. As for the good ones, I wish that's all I had.

But apparently your dreams often turned bad because in your poem you wish to dream no more.
