Farewell to two brothers

Today I said farewell to
Brother Police Officers,
Prayed for them within
My heart and soul
As politician make their scene
And a circus out
Of a sacred funeral
By the Governor Cuomo
Cracking some dry
Senseless jokes
At the Funeral of two
Heroic New York City
Police Officers
Assassinated
In the streets of their
Assigned area of patrol,
Both were further honored
By been promoted posthumously
To the rank of Detective
For they have made
Their Ultimate Sacrifice.

The coward hides

The coward hides
In plain view,
Before the alleged
(Unverified) threats
He was forever
In the front Lines,
Leading the masses
With his nose
High up in the air
With his pompous
Attitude
For the world to see
"Look a me"
I am the greatest
You will ever see.
Now the hides himself
Deep within a sea
Of demonstrators
No longer is he
In the front lines
He makes himself
A smaller target
Disregarding
The safety
Of the innocent
Marching abreast him,
For the cause
They are demonstrating,
A tactic of a cowardly
"Allege" community
Leader.

I can see from these poems that you have been deeply shaken by the events happening in your beloved Police Department. You are writing your heart out to all that will read.
Can't help but say "Congratulations" to this undertaking. The funeral for the police officers was absolutely and horrifically used by those who are part of the problem which got the officers gunned down. The bottom poem . . . Crapola! not your writing, but to whom you wrote about.
