A Gentle Touch

Between the early dawn
Of a graying new day
And the reality of waking
To a morning prayer
After a restful dream
I kissed her head
I wrapped my arm
Around her waist
Caressing
Her soft voluptuous
Warm flesh
Covered by silken sheets
Amplifying each caress
She responded
With Puppy like whimpers
Searching for the pleasure
Of a gentle touch.

I really like the feel of this… The texture of the words… And the restfulness of the scene. I'm not so sure about the, "… Puppy like whimpers." ;-)

Don't we all yearn to be touched? even if only one side of the body is touched, the other half yearns to be touched too.

It's a beauty to wake up to when there's something or someone who has a beautiful soul beside you.

In the Whirlwind by Tichaona Chinyelu

In the Whirlwind is a poetic storm that frees history from the cages of corruption and puts it in the hands of everyday people. Words are weaved into a new fashion statement that has nothing to do with runways but everything to do with projects!
