Her eyes have been staring into my soul For over half a century

Eyes of an angel ~~~~~*~~~~~ I see The passionate face Of a Goddess Staring through Eyes of an angel They Stare sensuously From the past Within a treasured Image. Eyes that still prey Upon my heart and mind Wantonly seeking Those great encounters Of our yesterday's, When true love Like now Was still true love My inner most passion Awakens At the mere memories She produces with her Eyes of an angel Staring deeply into My hungry soul. There seems to be nostalgia here as well as deep love. The eyes of the poet meet the eyes of an angel. Sounds like two angels to me. Fine work, William. I like the intensity and the brevity which seem to work together to good effect.
