Wonder of thoughts

I never wrote a palindrome
Nor am I about to
But verses are fleeing
my thoughts
Words
Evacuating my mind.

Only doubts
Of tomorrows
Are left behind
For me to wonder
Upon
Of that which only remains
Is my used to be
Or what is was.

She always came to me
Early in my mornings
Embracing me
Ever so tenderly.

With assuring wanting
Words filled with caring
I see the passion
brightly sparkling
In her beautiful eyes
As she assures me
She will
Always be there.

Poems are a wonderful way to "evacuate" our thoughts.

Knowing that someone will be there no matter what is one of life's most precious gifts. Very well penned.

There is nothing like it when someone is there "who knows", someone who will "always be there." Fine poem, William, full of nostalgia and love. John

VIVID THOUGHTS OF WHAT USED TO BE CAN MAKE IT SEEM LIKE IT'S HAPPENING ALL OVER AGAIN. IF THESE THOUGHTS ARE GOOD, LIKE YOURS ARE, ONE CAN BE IMMENSELY COMFORTED BY THEM. THANKS FOR SHARING, WILLIAMS - SO ENJOYED. LOVE, BLESSINGS AND FAITH...JOYCE * HIS INSPIRATIONS

Ahhh . . . Exceptional writing, my friend. To be told "She will / Always be there" is made even more real and joyous when you know it to be true . . .
