To my Dear Friend Floreann

The day outside Promises
to be bright and clear
I lay in bed
Listening to the hum
Of an A/C.

Still drowsy I fade into
A world
We once knew
When soft hands I held
Beautiful little nothings
Verbally exchanged.

We felt each other's
Heart beat, vibrating
Through hands we held
As we inhaled
The sweet perfume scent
of wild flowers in the field.

well, I have always insisted: no good spoiling beauty sleep, which can be so sweet and amicably, especially in the hours from 11am to 1pm that represent the heart according to the Oriental medicine; hence this beautiful piece's imagery. Cheers, alex
