Sand Pearls

Sand Pearls
~~~~~*~~~~~
Waves gently clash
Ashore
Mixing the sand
With a soft churn
Before rescinding
Back again and again.

Leaving its treasures
Hundreds of colorful
Baby clams
To the aweness
Of beach comers
Walking by
Left a mural
Resembling Pearls
In the sand.

Where some see shells, I see pearls of wisdom in a poem. The only thing better would be a photo of the phenomenon.

Sea shells come to us from the treasures of the sea. A welcome sight to behold.

Many American Indians treasured sea shells even more than gold. They may not be more valuable by today's standards but some are definitely more colorfully naturally designed and strikingly more beautiful. Well done William! John Michael
