God
Loathes the lazy men
Comparing them
To the Slug
Who moves ever so
Gracefully without
A worry in mind
Leaving behind
A trail of silvery slime
For all it possess
Is time
And labors not
For none.
As I sit here writing, I feel for the poor slug. As it slowly moves along, I painstakingly write my thoughts and feelings, word by slow word. We have much in common!
In spite of their undesirable qualities, slugs have a definite role in nature, that without them, we may suffer some consequence.
On the other hand, a man with infinitely more intelligence, who behaves like a slug, deserves all the ridicule that can be placed upon him. Bad behavior deserves comparison to the perceivable worst that there is.
