Nursing Fading Thoughts

I lay atop
my bed
Nursing fading thoughts
Within the darkness
In my head.

A storm Is brewing
Out there
In a night without pity
Winds blowing waywardly
Rushing to nowhere
Pass my opened window.

If only it would
Carry her soft voice
As she calls out
My name
In this memorable
Night.

For she's also
Laying in loneliness
Wishing we were
Together
Within each others tender embrace.

Passionately entangled
Floating heavenly towards infinity's gate
of ecstasy.

"if you can't be with the one you love." At least you can think about her and write a beautiful poem about how you miss the comfort of her arms.
