From the quite room

From within a quite
Hospital room
I stare out a window
across a lot
Of Parked cars
And a manicured
Grassy field
Separating the road
from where I stand
With the loneliness
Of a lost soul
Waiting for her
To ease this pain
Of forlornness
Within my mending
Heart.

The quiet room doesn't seem that quiet; I hear melancholy echoes. If you are sick, I hope you get well soon. As they say in Arabic, "Salamtak", the blessing of peace.

Here's hoping you're home for Christmas, with everything mended. Best wishes.

In the Whirlwind by Tichaona Chinyelu

In the Whirlwind is a poetic storm that frees history from the cages of corruption and puts it in the hands of everyday people. Words are weaved into a new fashion statement that has nothing to do with runways but everything to do with projects!
