Another Collection Of Haikus 1 ) Spider’s Trap ~~~~~~~~~~~~ Summer is ending Spider executes a trap Sipping her caught prey. 2 ) Petals Blossoming ~~~~~~~~~~~~ Morning dew of Spring Nourishes a sleeping bud Petals Blossoming. 3 ) August Moon ~~~~~~~~~~~~ An August full moon Fulfills awaiting passions Ecstasy proclaimed. 4 ) Nature’s Laws ~~~~~~~~~~~~ Fall’s kaleidoscope Exercises nature’s laws gracefully leaves drift. 5 ) Prey Cowards ~~~~~~~~~~~~ Prey cowards hiding Darkness assures no safety Within Summer nights. 6) Enemies are few ~~~~~~~~~~~~ Vicious Puma sleeps After winter wandering Enemies are few. 7 ) May’s Inspiration ~~~~~~~~~~~~ Love is in the air May’s inspiration fails not Both Hearts skip a beat 8 ) Resolutions ~~~~~~~~~~~~ Year’s resolutions Recorded in January Mostly are in vain. 9 ) Sower’s Plight ~~~~~~~~~~~~ Seeds scattered in March Will nourish the sower’s plight He’s rewards abounds. 10 ) Promised Fruit ~~~~~~~~~~~~ Green up Summer time Promised fruit ripening sweet Reaping time arrived. Creative to the nth, William. I love Haikus, and occasionaly wwrite them, but I never would be able to spin them as you have done here.

You have spread quite a diversity of haiku here with no paucity of meaning. I would caution you though, that a puma is primarily a pussycat and probably would purr if received scratching around the years rather than lash out in vicious anger.

Some are better than others, but they are all interesting and well-wrought. I love haikus and when through a phase where I wrote hundreds of them. Also, have a book of haikus and Tankas posted on AD entitled "Earthrise". You have a knack for it, William.
