Within a few days
The tree is well adorned
The lights flicker
Cheering colors
Beautifully wrapped presents
Decorate the bottom Near "The Manger"
Where Christ is lovingly displayed.

Children playing in the cold
Making a snowman,
Gliding in the ice
With thoughts of hot soup
Sweet candy canes and apple pies
Dancing in their heads

The scent of pine
Perfumes the air
Thoughts of which present
under the tree
belongs to mine.

This year we'll add another
Friend to our list
A lovely angel from abroad
A gentle of a Lady
A sweet Mum, A caring Grandma.

She blesses our thoughts
Of another Christmas
To share well wishes
Thank You My Lady
