Deep thoughts with a sad ring. I usually change sad endings in movies to happy endings in my head. So in my head, I see that rock rising to the surface and jumping to life. Best wishes William.
WILLIAM, I MUST BE HONEST. I WANTED TO BE SYMPATHETIC TO YOUR WORDS BUT I FOUND MYSELF LAUGHING. IT JUST THE WAY YOU DESCRIBED IT...A ROCK SINKING IN A POND? WILLIAM, I THINK YOU WERE IN THE MIDST OF A VERY LOW MOOD AND YOUR 'REACH' FOR POE DIDN'T MAKE IT...AND I'M GLAD IT DIDN'T. FROM TIME TO TIME, WE ALL GO THERE, WILLIAM, BUT IN THE END...WHY TRY TO VISUALIZE WHAT THE END IS GOING TO BE LIKE? WE HARDLY KNOW HOW, WHEN OR WHERE, ONLY GOD KNOWS. SO WE GO ON LIVING, LAUGHING, LOVING ...UNTIL THE MASTER CALLS US. WHAT DO WE CARE 'HOW'? IT ONLY MATTERS WHEN WE WAKE, THAT WE SHOULD SEE 'HIS' BLESSED FACE. CHIN UP, MY FRIEND AND 'PRESS ON'! THANKS FOR SHARING. LOVE, BLESSINGS AND FAITH...JOYCE * HIS INSPIRATIONS
That was like being between a rock and soft water. But I thought a minute. If you are a small flat rock. You might be picked up from the bottom of that pond and given a spinning throw as you are skipped across the surface of the pond before being dropped deep into the water where you will probably never be retrieved again. But what a thrill ride that must be--dead or not.
I much rather be a rock in a pond, then a rock in the ocean, the oceans is too big, easy to get lost, or forgotten. A pond is much more easier to sit aside, pondering about how many fish will join me????
Welcome!
The poems in this beautifully bound book are a result of over twenty years of observations. Observations of the world around us and on the telecommunications network. All of the hate, love, heroism, disasters, and those who help.
