A love I wished once upon, but she's already in my arms

NO MATTER HOW WELL WE THINK WE 'KNOW' A PERSON...THERE IS STILL SO MUCH MORE TO THEM THAN WE KNOW! WHAT AN AWESOME TRIBUTE TO YOUR WIFE, WILLIAM! IN SO MANY WAYS THIS TELLS OF THE DEPTH OF YOUR LOVE FOR HER THAT HAS NEVER CHANGED BUT HAS GROWN...OVER ALL THE YEARS YOU'VE BEEN TOGETHER. As usual, a lovely poem. But I am perplexed about, "I wish I knew you." Perhaps it is just the thought that no two people are alike, even when they love one another. And sometimes, it would be best if we knew it the other was thinking. Maybe not.
