Someone seen her

There was a beautiful woman
Tall slender wearing a smile
Upon her face
Challenging the rising sun
some say she's a legend
In the mountains.

Someone seen her
Taking pictures
Of a puma
As it carried her cubs
Within it's deadly jaws
Changing her discovered den.

Some say she's known
to have tracked
A grizzly bear at a distance
Taking grate aim
Squeezing slowly
Holding that lens
snapping photos of the year.

Why!
One old timer uttered
I remember a young lass
Holding a carrot
as a wild stallion
Nibble upon it.

She slowly reached
To caress his head
Whispering in his ears
As she
Faster than snake bite
Grabbed his mane.

Jumping upon his bare back
Riding away into the wilderness
Of nature
As she had secretly
Done so many times before.

Only a few knows
Who she is
I've seen her smile
and the legend she is
within her mysterious eyes.
